The school lies at the heart of the community, and will feature some key facilities, including sports pitches and a performing arts centre. It has been designed to start with four forms of entry, filling up each year as it grows, and the second phase will see this expand to eight forms of entry.

Section 10 Consultation
The school is now in its pre-opening phase and we are required to undertake a public consultation. Alconbury Weald Church Academy is a brand new, fully inclusive, state funded, mixed secondary school, located on the Alconbury Weald development in Huntingdonshire.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Section 10 consultation, we are pleased to confirm that Alconbury Weald Church Academy has received overwhelming support for the proposal to open in 2027 with 98% of respondents in support.

Admissions
The admissions process for entry into year 7 in September 2027 will open on 1st September 2026. Admission applications must be made directly to Grace Schools, the admissions authority for AWCA, using the online application form found below.
